well im having major trouble getting this car to run my 20 psi with decent fuel milage, correct AFR at highway cruise.... @ cruising at 70mph, my afr is 13.7, hard on fuel. My fuel regulator is set at 26psi, and the rest is tuned with the dtec.... any suggestions?
first off, 26psi is way too low ... you wouldn't happen to want your fuel to atomize, would you?
what are you using to tune?
well i was told that that is what i would hear on the forums... instead of my attempting to explain WHY i would have it set @ 26 pounds for fuel pressure, why don't i rather ask what fuel pressure do you guys reccomend, and what type of fuel/boost map would you run with a 60-1? BTW: when car is at idle, you adjust the fuel pressure and you can actually hear when the fuel starts to get messed up, at about 23 pounds the car STARTED to idle differently, 26 is safe.
Thats not up for debate. just give me your idea's. The car is running great, no issues
I try to stay ABOVE 40 psi base pressure ... going any lower is asking for the fuel to drip out of the injectors & cause idling/low boost/rpm issues
raise the pressure to 43 psi & go from there ... with the 1:1 boost reference hooked up of course
detech, dtec, w/e its basically Vtech, anyway, thanks for the info, i'll try something like that and see what she does for me. I just want to know, has anyone here actually attempted 26psi? Or 1 guy says its dangerous and you follow like baby ducks? I know several srt4's that are 11 second cars running same fuel pressure as me, and have been running like that for 3 years now (for the one guy).

Either way, thanks for your time and help guys.
you arent going to get help by telling us we are wrong
My idle fuel pressure is ~27 psi, runs fine. I guess the RC injectors are junk b/c I hear lots of people say they "drip" at low pressure. Although I havent seen anyone hook them up on the bench to actually look at the flow
