Capping solenoids and replacing O2 sensor with wideband
I remember reading that someone with Emanage and E-01 had capped off all their solenoids and said that they got no check engine light. Is this correct?
Also, having emanage and e-01, could I take out the O2 sensor in the exhaust and replace it with my wideband sensor? Is the sensor even in the right location for a wideband?
I tried searching but couldn't really find anything specific about this.

You won't throw any codes even if you have all the solenoid ports capped..
(Well, on S0, it will throw a code indirectly, overboost code when the ECU doesn't control boost - MBC)..
As for the the downstream and o2 sensor..
The wideband o2's are supposed to be placed before the cat for proper readings.. Some people with S1's have removed their downstream narrowband o2 sensors and replaced it with widebands..
The narrowband sensor still needs to be connected to the stock ecu (just strapped onto the k-frame) else the ECU will throw a code that said sensor is missing (even though it's not being used by the ECU)..
With S0, obviously this won't work as the ECU uses the downstream o2 to double check the efficiency of the CAT..
If you removed it and strapped it to the frame, you'll get a code eventually..
