Question Best/unexpensive way to datalog wideband.

I want a wideband gauge, but I want to be able to datalog it, because I plan on getting a DSP. whats a good gauge to do this on. I dont want to bother trying to data log the WB with the dsp, It just seems easier to log a WB by its self. Im looking at getting a AEM WB then getting a cheep data acquisition device and hooking it up to a tach driver and the WB. then loading it into a spreadsheet on graph. Will that work? Because other options ive found seemed to be expensive.

I highly suggest the Zeitronix ZT-2. It will log RPM, TPS, MAP, EGT, and an auxiliary input. Logging just the wideband without RPM is rather inefficient.

if you're slightly electronically savy, can try something from WBo2.com WIDEBAND AFR/LAMBDA (Tech Edge)

The NGK AFX is an extremely accurate inexpensive wideband controller. It doesn't do internal logging but it does have a 0-5v analog output. It is actually designed by ECM who makes laboratory grade widebands. If you buy an NTK sensor to use with it it's even more durable and accurate. The Bosch sensor works okay with it too. I use an ECM AFM1000 but not everybody is going to spend ~$1700.00 on a wideband controller.

LM-1 with RPM converter, or just input the LM-1 analog out to the scangauge. With the RPM converter you can log rpm plus four other sensors.
