Default Apexi NEO & SAFC Questions..

So I've tried to read (which is difficult for me as it is) about the different options to piggy back my fuel system for the new turbo going on.

Obviously I need a wideband which I will get as well as I'm going back to my stage 1 turbo and will be upgrading to larger injectors such as 750's or 900's..

Now, the questions I have are..

1) Are there any real advantages in going with a NEO over the older SAFC.
2) Do I need to upgrade the map & tip sensor as in with the stage 2+ kits?
3) At what point do I need a return line?? (I will be upgrading to a walbro 255 pump)
4) How do I control the boost with an external wastegate? I'm assuming I need either a manual or a electronic boost controller? options for this are??

Going with a AGP 50 trim Turbo external wastegated and the following mods are already installed..

B&B Exhaust no cat
AEM intake
Motor Mounts
HKS blow off
MSD Wires
NGK Plugs
Ported & polished intake & throttle body..

Thanks for everyone's input.. can't wait to start playing with the new turbo!

SAFC NEO only has one tuning map so you can only tune it on either Pump gas or Race Gas. NEO does not have the knock retard reader, which is known not to be the most accurate.
No you dont need Map/Tip sensors if SAFC is hooked up right and vacuum lines.
return line is a great thing to have but is NOT needed with 255 fuel pump will be great but if you want a real good tune return lines are good to run Static or Rising FPR

Obviously I need a wideband which I will get as well as I'm going back to my stage 1 turbo (U mean pcm right?)and will be upgrading to larger injectors such as 750's (Those are plenty good for 500+hp)or 900's..

^ It's a toss up pick one Neo has 16 points Rpm Tuning SAFC 2 has 12 Rpm point's But has 2 maps and is lockable. Neo you will have to write your tunes down on paper and swith back to whatever gas you run manually.
Both work great.

2) Do I need to upgrade the map & tip sensor as in with the stage 2+ kits?
^No but you will need a Msd tach driver to run the SAFC NEO/Safc2

3) At what point do I need a return line?? (I will be upgrading to a walbro 255 pump)
^No point It's up to you but it makes it easy on the tuner total option.
4) How do I control the boost with an external wastegate? I'm assuming I need either a manual or a electronic boost controller? options for this are??
^Yes

Didn't you make a thread that was almost the same as this one I think I posted in it?

Anyway good luck on your beast just make sure you look in the tuning section read everthing and read about Kr and keep it safe.
