yeah well i mean i can feel if it is slugish or not. low end is really when i can feel a differance not to much hi end. but yeah i understand what u'r saying thats why i don't adjust the #'s more than 9 -/+. is there not like a base scale out there before i get it properly fixed? i know all cars r differant but i'm sure ther is a base scale that would work better than what i'm doing
Ok i have a question i am sure someone has the answer to it. When i tuned my s2 i have a nice 11.5 to redline, but i am boosting about 13-14 at redline. When i go back to stock data file with no changes i am running rich like a s2 car does but i am boosting 18-19 at redline. What setup is better? Is the higher boost helping me go faster or its not really different because its so rich?
So to put this simple question whats better for power 11.5 14psi, or 10.0 19 psi
so you only use those 7 wires what about the others???? and how did yall runt e harness thru the firewall , and how did you go about extending the harness where cna u get the wire and what gauge?

ok the way i went thru the firewall was (above the clutch) i got a flash light so i could see a little better and i got a razor blad and cut away part of the bottow of the rubber boot (enough to slide the connecting plug thru easily) then i got a screw driver and drove it thru the firewall and went to see if i could see it on the other side. then i pushed the plug thru with the screw driver (from the inside)(if it is hard to push thru then u'r hole u cut isn't big enough) then once it was thru and i could see it, i got a piece of wire and made a hook on the end (wire should be about 11/2 ft to make it easier) once u'v hooked it then just connect it to the other wire. **** i was wondering how ppl mount their safc by there boost gauge b/c the wire isn't long enough. so i just mounted it under my staring wheel with velcro. (run the wire thru the gap u see under the staring wheel to make the wire less noticeable)
blazin253- it is better to have 11.5 @14psi (holding). higher boost it not necessary b/c i had 20psi and had less power than 15 psi. it has a lot with timing. 13-14psi (holding) is not to bad but see if u can make it hold 16psi at redline but have 18psi at red line. if u have S2 then u should have a adjustable WAG.... so in other words keep 11.5 AFR than have higher boost.

so did u extend the wireing form the 7 wires u have to connect if so where did u get the wire and what gauge
and does ne one have pics of the install like where exatly they did this with pics and this install is the same as the neo right???
go to this :Apex~i SAFC NEO menu help... Picture Intensive
print it all out and have it by ur side when u'r doing the wiring. it takes a lil bit to understand whats going on but once u'v got it then its a breeze. i didn't bye ne extra wiring, i just uses what they gave me with my NEO. if u mount it up at u'r boost guage then i'm guessing u have to have extra wiring. (the same size as what hooks up to the safc). dude u'r neo should has 2 wires already (one is attached to u'r neo and the other is what u hook all the 7 wires to) well id u plug the 2 wires together then u should have about 6ft of wire to use. it is plenty to have it u r instaling it under u'r staring wheel like i sed.

OK sounds good, i have aem truboost so i dont really have to adjust the WG its all through truboost. I will go back to 11.5 a/f then i wanna go to a dyno and see what diff things pull. The 10 af 20 psi the 11.5 15 psi and open dp. Sounds like i have something to do next week.
alright guys I have a question and I got tired of reading through this thread so I hope it hasn't been asked before. right now I am zero'd out all the way across on the low scale (30%) and starting about 2200rpm on the hi scale(80%) I am any where from -15 to -32 near red line. fairly flat 11.3 - 11.5 afr DBB 50trim 23-24 lbs 3000 full spool. walbro return line 1-1 reg. static fp is 43psi. and 750s. Driveablity is awesome and full throttle is, well it will make your sticker peck out, but my question is that I have heard that pulling that much fuel on the top end can cause really bad things to happen to the engine. I am getting 6 degrees of knock retard on the Aeroforce Gauge with W/I. So have any of you heard this? I really don't want to rebuild my engine yet.
you may want to turn the fuel pressure down a couple psi and pull out less fuel. the more you pull out the more timing gets messed up which leads to knock which leads to dead motors. You really don't want to pull out more than 12-15 on the safc. Pulling out less than 10 would be ideal

so even with the sensor set to pressure on the neo it still needs to be 10 in a10 out can someone correspond to this and it i change it now and i am tuned will it affect my tune
ok guys i need help tuning my safc i have a fuel return line set at 48 than added a boost source right now everything is zeroud out on the safc, car runs to rich to about 3500rpm about 10.3-10.5afr than starts to go lean and it runs too lean all the way to redline about 13.5-14.0 isnt it supposed to be opposite ??? _ boost set at 20psi holding about 15-16_
