HEY has any 1 used the aem fic yet i was wondering how easy it was to use and how much better it is compaired to a dtec

Never used one, but I just bought one and am looking for some kind of detailed write up on how to install.

aem fic vs. d-tec= fic>detc all day every day
it controlls timing, i can leave it at the, plus the amount of maps, being able to "add" fuel with it and tuning points and everything you can change is far superior

its ok. it is definitely feature rich.

allows fueling and timing tweaking, MAP manipulation as well as o2 sensor feedback manipulation (gets rid of ptfb issues as well as can create lean cruise for better mileage).

the software is very bonehead to use but is somewhat clunky. it is not as smooth or fast to adjust as the AEM EMS software but it definitely gets the job done.

its [F/IC] like using a crescent wrench to get a hard to reach bolt as opposed to a nice ratcheting wrench [EMS]. i tuned a supercharged 383 chevy truck with it today.
