Default What did I do wrong??

I need some help please! I sold my car and I wanted to return it to stock. I took out the Ice-man air intake, Stage 2 computer, injectors, WGA, and the 2 sensors. I put the factory Intercooler back in. I had to leave in the LFS TB that I put in it though. I also took out the DTEC fuel controller and a catch can. I fired it up and it stummbled some then idled out, then the engine light came on. I took it for a drive and as soon as it gets to 3000 rpm it starts stumbling and you have to back off the throttle. The engine light is still on.

I'm not sure what I could have hooked up wrong. Does anyone have a diagram of where the stock vacume lines go. I'm stummped as to what I did wrong, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

It sounds to me like the D-TEC uninstallation may be the cause of the problem...

First off, what code(s) are you throwing???

Edit: Have you migrated to the new coSRToc site yet?!? If you haven't, you should. That's where all of us are at now...

Thanks Dommo, I'm cross eyed now lol! I'll have to check that. I'm stummped, it sputters a little but when you get to 3K rpm it's not a happy camper at all.

Was it something the dealer had in stock or did you have to order it? How much was it. I'm trying to fix it in a hurry because I traded it in last Friday and the dealer was nice enough to let me keep it and take all my stuff out. But I need to get it them as soon as possible.

I agree w/ nick, sounds like something went wrong with the dtec unistallation. I threw the same code when I installed my dtec and I just had two wires mixed up.

How did you uninstall yours? I figured since all the wires were just tapped into the factory harness that all I needed to do was cut them close to the harness and tape the ends up. I didn't do the install so I'm not sure how it's all done but I do know that's how the wires were connected.

Thanks for all the advice everyone. I really do appreciate it. I have like 2 days to get this figured out before the dealership starts screaming for the car.

There's your problem. The MAP wire must be CUT in two when installing a DTEC or SAFC. It controls fuel by modifying this signal.

Make sure to reconnect the MAP signal wire. If this doesn't correct the problem, let me know.

Edit: The MAP signal wire should be the Dark Green/Red wire in the orange connector at the PCM.
