Not a bad day, just a day where things dont go so smoothly. Well that was my day today.
Started off by waking up early so me and the wife could look at some tiles before she went to work for our house that is being built. Well, the gentleman that is handling our project forgot to leave the samples that we were considering so that turned out to be a wasted trip. No biggie.
Next, I get the call that item I've been waiting for arrived at the dock station for Yellow freight. I rent a trailer as my uncle borrowed my dads trailer to bring back a vehicle from California and he ended up being down there longer than expected. I go to the garage to grab some tie down straps and discover my uncle took them all

. Ahh, So I buy some new ones and move on. I pick up my shipment and make my way home getting cut off by some lady in a bmw on the highway. She decides to come to a complete stop to try to get in the other lane. I used some sign language with her!
Well time to unload the trailer. I have a 1800lb crate so I decide to use a tractor to lift it off the trailer. Start her up and she dies

. Out of gas. I go grab some gas and begin again. Go to grab our chains and discover that my uncle took those as well. After brainstorming, I figure out a way and proceeded and then the front tire goes flat

. An hour later, I finally suceed with some creativity and head home.
I decided to check my mail and have 3 letters from the state of California. 2 of them are bout my vehicle registrations being past due and that a $50 per vehicle fine was assesed. I've already notified them twice that I no longer live there. 3rd letter was a letter concerning my driving privilidge. I made a bad decision in the past and thus I have to file an sr-22 with them. Well I changed insurance carriers but I had them overlap for two months to avoid this problem but because my old policy was cancelled, California revoked my driving rights

. The funny thing is that the end of letter, they ask me very nicely to fill out a form and to please enclose any driving license in my possesion. At least the envelope had prepaid postage.
Well that was my day, just felt like I needed to vent. But still, overall, not a bad day.
