So I upgraded my girls car by doing all the 300 whp stock turbo mods. Wondering if anyone in the area has done or had any experience with this. I installed everything but had a small fuel leak (return line). Its currently getting fixed and will be back on tonight. My problem or concern is with the tunning of the fpr and map clamp. So if anyone has any experience or guidence with this let me know, please.

We like to use a place called Mac Autosport In Parker
to help us Dyno Tune Our Cars.
I've heard of Mac. Me and a bunch of friends are gonna go to an old buddies (certified aem tuner) shop in Ft. Collins later on after some of us get our turbo kits. but i was looking for personal experience with tuning it on your own.
You could post this question on Colorado Neons, there is a couple of people on there that I know of that might be able to help.
thanks, i might try that. I know all Colorado peeps are on the COSRT page, but my g/f doesn't spend anytime on the forum (as you can see why I'm on). So I'm not gonna pay for it to get on every now and then.....
I don't wanna go up on a dyno and tune. Especially when they say we can just road tune with the map clamp and fpr. But i will probably be doing a baseline run in a couple months to see if she is close to 300!!!!

SNAP!, i forgot about you having the srt-beast. I haven't been to mike's in a long time. We'll have to meet up sometime this weekend if your free. I wanna see you car and i know kristi does too! I spend most of my time on my boards so when it comes to yours guys cars I DON"T KNOW SHIT!
Im used to the anti-board bolt-on srt-4 owners in greeley.
that will work, i should be home this weekend working on the srt4 anyway. i put a tune on my supra the other day i ran out of fuel at 455hp. i need to get that in my garage and start on it.

HAHA, one project at a time. I go back and forth between the srt and supra all the time, gets overwhelming sometimes.
to many black supras, someone asked me a while back if i sold my rims and got a louder exhasut....haha...pm your number and if i talk kristi into taking the supra to school on saturday i'll bring it over.....
Hearing knock and monitoring knock are 2 different things. Hearing knock will lead to hearing alot more, like your rod coming out of the block. The only real way of monitoring knock is a with a scan gauge. Some vendors sell them, they are about 200-250ish bucks for the Aeromotive gauge, and it will monitor just about everything that the stock computer monitors.
