Was hoping to see this in your flash sale last night on facebook. Are you going to have special pricing on this soon? I need this kit for my winter build!
There have been several price increases recently from the different suppliers of the water pumps, cam seals, etc recently. Even with all of these price increases we have kept the pricing the same, saving you money! We get that asked a lot. Mopar / Gates / GMB water pumps that we offer are all very good quality. Gates and GMB are HUGE suppliers to the OEMs, so it might even be that one of these companies supply Mopar. Gates oem belts, Mopar OEM belts, Gates Racing belts, all are very good quality. The most popular one we carry is the Gates Racing belt, because Gates states their RACING series belt is 300% stronger than a OEM equivalent belt.

The factory recommends replacing the timing belt at 90,000 miles, or 7 years whichever comes first.

Yes, the Gates Racing belt will work on any NSRT4 engine.

Cory can confirm but the Mopar one I saw was the same design as the plastic impeller version, but it is now made of metal.

I purchased the timing belt kit from Modern Performance last month with a Mopar water pump, and it had an open 6-blade metal impeller. The key reason that I purchased from Modern was to make sure that I was installing the "right" water pump. Has Mopar ceased production of the enclosed plastic impeller, or was this a mix-up?

Yes. Mopar discontinued the plastic impeller unit. Mopar has superceded the part number for the plastic impeller unit over to the steel wheel unit. Furthermore, all aftermarket manufacturers are now offering the steel wheel unit. The plastic finned unit is no more.
