quick question, i just fixed the section from where the wire was broken. now for you guys who used the kit, from what i see it comes with the pins already on the wire but then it has gold pins in the car as well. are you guys wiring it from the sensor strait to the pcm? i have no clue on what to do with those gold pins that came in the package too.. thanx.

hemidakota: how did you rerun the wire to the pcm plug? do you have a diagram showing which plug and which wire on that plug? thank you very much.

so if my max throttle % is 76 % and my max throttle volts is 3.1 does that mean i have a bad TPS sensor or is it the wiring?

I just bought the kit for this too. I haven't look too hard since I was busy most of the day and I was more concerned with getting my battery replaced... I have a few questions:

The kit comes with wires long enough to wire to computer, do I route directly there? I just took my car out tonight (first time in a while) and this problem is worst than ever, but I tried to wiggle around the wires and got no difference in idle. Before it would calm down and drop to 1K and stay there, but tonight it was a rough idle @ 1200. Think it could be anything else? Hoping to install this this week and hopefully no more problems.

So there is an actual Technical Service Bulletin on this? That would be the most helpful in getting a dealership to be able to help out I would think. Other than that, they would continue to want to replace "bad throttle position sensors"...

ok so. my story seems to be alittle dif from the first 10 pages that i read. every so often my idle sticks at 1400-1500 rpm and then will go back down to normal 800 rpm at 0 mph. would this still be directly related to the tps or wiring? im also getting a stutter at about 2800-3k rpms while driving. the car feels like it doesnt want to go past that rpm and starts stuttering or jerking downwards it feels like. and there is excessive blow off from my bov even though im not boosting. any ideas? im throwing a p1188 a p0068 and a p2074
