1. Distilled water in a regular spray bottle.
2. Start engine
3. Spray distilled water between the top edge of the intake manifold and heads. You are looking for any suction sounds.
4. Spray distilled water around both edges (left side and right side) for the same sunction sounds
If you have any sunction sound (sounds like a a quick high whistle tone) then you have a leak. Most likely check around the cylinder #4.

Saturday- my car started surging randomly, right up to 3k. Thanks to these forums instantly knew what it was. My suspicions were confirmed not 1 hr later when she threw the p0123 code.
Sunday- i pop out my Iceman CAI and return her to stock for the trip to the dealer monday morning.
Monday- Take it into the dealer and tell the service guy that she threw p0123 and its probably a tps sensor or wiring problem. Still no word from the service dept so much for the 15 mintue fix. HEH.
well the service manager called me. He thinks they should be able to have a new wiring harness tommorrow. Hes go it in stock at another dealer. Hopefully they replace the harness and all goes well tommorrow. *fingers crossed*
called from the dealership again. The harness he had was of the wrong revision (i half expected that). Hes overnighting the correct one, and he says i'll have the car tommorrow. Here comes day 3... grrrrrr.
Sup ya'll. Well since I threw my P0123 code and getting it back from the dealer, all is well. However, now when under heavy boost at low RPM (WOT) the car boggs/hesitates. It's fine around 5 PSI, it's more around 10 PSI. After doing some research on the boards, people have these problems when their plugs or wires go bad. Does this sound right, or do you think it has something to do with what the dealer did when they fixed my TPS problem. You can check a few posts back, I actually typed the paper I got back from the dealership stating what they did when they fixed it...
BTW, I went ahead and ordered some 8.5mm Magnecor wires w/NGK (1 step colder) plugs to hopefully fix the problem. If anyone knows why my car is doing this, please post. Thanks!
Here's what they did verbatim off the paper I got back after they fixed my TPS problem (instead of going back pages, I just quoted it here):

Customer states engine revving by itself. Check engine light is on. Scan code P0121. TPS High Voltage. Determined cause to be open TPS. Replaced Throttle Position Sensor.
So what does this mean? Why did they get P0121 and I got a P0123? And from what I'm reading, they replaced the sensor only and not the harness, or did they? Replacing the sensor only is not the fix, right? Replacing the harness is... I thought?
Get back. Thanks!
