Question I need Pcitures/Install Help...BOP/BOV vaccum lines

Hey guys....I'm going to install my BOP soon and it seems pretty straight forward (the website Nivo had up on the install is now dead), and I need to know (physically see...I'm a visual learner) how and what to do when I install my BOV vaccum lines to the throttle body and how to plug the pink solenoid. Everyone says I need to do this mod because my BOV isn't connected right. I have an HKS SSQV on and ATP UPP routed to the pink line. I need hlep obviously.
1. What parts do I get for the vaccum conversion off throttle body to BOV?
2. How do I connect the lines to the BOV/throttle body?
3. Do I use a copper gasket or corky material on BOP?
4. How do I Cap Pink line (ie. with what size plug)
5. Pictures really help the process as well...thanks again guys.

i don't have any pics but........... look at your throttle body, theres a vac line coming off the there (not the pvc hose), its also being tee'd again into the black line which goes to the selinoid (i know i spelled that wrong) on the airbox. thats where you tap you bov vac line to.

i used a screw and a small hose clamp to plug my pink line.

Thumbs up tee off the intake manifold...

Tee the HKS off the intake manifold, see pic, my set-up is tee'd into this way; although it's off of the greddy profec, which is tee'd into the intake manifold... all the same vacuum source.

Be sure to CAP the Pink line that went to the stock recirc(surge) valve.

Quote:
1. What parts do I get for the vaccum conversion off throttle body to BOV? you can get vacuum tee kits from Kragen, Autozone...
2. How do I connect the lines to the BOV/throttle body? 1/4" vacuum tee.
3. Do I use a copper gasket or corky material on BOP? either... I used intake gasket type material and in conjunction, you can sparingly use silicone gasket material along the outer edge.
4. How do I Cap Pink line (ie. with what size plug) 1/4" bolt or golf ball tee or ball bearing
5. Pictures really help the process as well...see attached pic

Yes, you can tee off the manifold for the E01, just as pictured above...

Excellent. I will be doing this mod as soon as I have a free weekend....Another quick question When do you guys get together for the palomar run or any hang outs? I live in San Diego and I saw your tight video a while back. Oh and where do you get those colored hoses? Those are sweet. Once again you're a life saver!

Our get togethers in San Diego are sparce and sporadic... we usually keep a look out on the California Forums for the big SRT meets and/or try to meet up at the "Q" for some racing. Most of us are in the military. I just rotated back to shore at Point Loma ASW base, so I am more flexible with my schedule, hit me up if you need any help with installs.

later...
