How-To: Wire Turbo Timer to Work w/ Car Alarm
Ok guys this is FROM the techs at DEI about how to wire in a relay to make the turbo timer work and still be able to arm and lock the car doors
you will need to turn the auto unlock feature off msot likely so it doesnt unlock our car
copied word for word
When adding an alarm system to a vehicle with a turbo timer the ignition input to the alarm must be isolated so it can be armed while the turbo timer is active. Some of the current turbo timers must see ignition input while the key is on before it will activate when the ignition is shut off. Both of these issues can be resolved by wiring a relay as shown below
Note: some newer turbo timers have output during activation that can be used to trigger a relay to open the alarm ignition input for as long as the turbo timer is active. If the turbo timer you are using has that feature this tip is unnecessary but can be used
Clifford G4 ALARMS: G4 alarms with onboard ignition kill relays should have the ignition output of the turbo timer added to the output side <green/blue> of the alarm making the use of an ignition bypass unnecessary
12 VOLT FUSED 87
TURBO TIMER IGNITION OUTPUT WIRE 86 & 87A
IGNITION WIRE TO COIL 30
GROUND 85
IGNITION WIRE FROM KEY/IGNITION INPUT TO ALARM 87A
that should be just what you need
Hopefully this can be my first sticky
