i wanted to figure a way to stop the oil from going into my intake. i tryed to put it in with my catch can but kept haven't problems with it. so i saw on turboneonstore that you can buy the kit from agp. so i gave me an idea.
at autozone i got a fuel filter little cheap thing cost like 5 dollars. it will catch the oil and still let it breathe. i put a air filter on the end ( it was the smallest one they had) it cost me like 10 dollars. so i clamped the filter to one end of the fuel filter and ran a hose from the other end to the valve cover. the thing works awesome no more oil smells from it going into my intake.
let me know what you guys think

all you did is make like a catch can pretty much??
i have the dual catch can set-up and have no problems...although i floored it the other day and smelled oil....hmmm

theres still vacuum in the engine that makes no sense? when i boost leak test my car i have to cap the breather. all i did was stop the oil that gets sucked out of the valve cover from going into my intake. its pretty much the same thing as where it goes into the intake but goes into a little catch can.

like i said...all u did was make your own catch can out of a fuel filter
yes the engine (crank case) needs vaccume all the time BUT oil vapor KILLS the octane rating of fuel any type of blow by could make race gas run like pump, an inline seperator would be perfect, still not sure if that would eliminate vapor
" The air intake while the turbo is producing boost has a strong vacuum signal and needs to hooked up to do so. The problem we see over over and over is the drivers side of valve cover is left open simply venting to atmosphere from some one just adding a breather or filter. This is when oil because the lack of vacuum starts to work its way by the rings and valve seals from the lack of vacuum under boosted conditions " = From DCR
Keeping the rings sealed against the cylinder walls is the most important. hence vacuum under boost is key for ring sealing capability.

so the kit that agp sells is allmost the same thing. so there kit is wrong too.
I would not go that far, the AGP kit that you are refering to is not SRT-4 Specific, and therefore maybee perfectly acceptable for any other application, however they also make an oil accumulator wich is a seald cannister that is for the SRT-4.
so am i gunna hurt my engine by this install. i just can't stand the oil in my intake and the burning smell i get from it hitting the turbo. i tried putting it into the catch can it just kept reving high and comeing down slowly on the rpms.
