if you only have 1 o2 sensor then it is located in the o2 housing between the downpipe and the turbo not the downpipe. You need to have a bung put in at an exhaust shop for $35 do the non fouler modand put your o2 sensor in the spark plug non fouler and when they put the bung in have the put in the o2 sensor which is already screwed into the non fouler and plug it back up.
Naturally you want the bung close to the stock wiring. Extending the factory wires is not a recomendation and can mess your car up.
O2 senors are sinsitive and splicing in and making these wires longer can add resistance to the wire causing the computer to see something thats not really happening.
Reset your computer and your good....
Running with a cel is the worst thing you can do performance wise as the computer makes the car pig rich to protect it's self.
ok sounds good...and u didnt really answer koopa ??....do u still pass inspection??....i know when the CEL comes on u need to drive 100 miles b4 u go into inspection so it clearly resets itself

hey for all you people that are still not throwing codes over a few weeks.. when you turn your key to the "on" possition but dont crank the motor. dose your CEL flash 10 times? cause if it dose then this mod dosent fix anything, if it stays on solid then your car has passed its OBDII drive cycle and all tests passed. let me know. and having your car stay in its "test mode" pulls a shit ton of fule/timeing, if you can watch your fule trims and ignition retard and advance when its trying to pass the tests...
You had me trippin' thinking that if my car flashed the CEL 10x's before cranking the motor there was a problem. Come to find out, it's normal for SRT's to flash the CEL 10x's before turning the car over.

How are you passing emissions inspections (or regular inspections) when they specifically take a mirror and check for a cat?
Thats all fine and dandy, but an easier way is to leave the o2 sensor intact to the wires and zip tie it out of the way of moving parts. The sensor will p/u ambient air and read just fine.
The check engine light that you are getting is not from the 2nd o2 sensor but from the upstream o2 sensor ( in o2 housing). It is reading no backpressure and sending CEL code p0133 i think that is the right code, its either 0133 or 0833, but either way, if you don't have a cat on your exhaust your gonna get a code no matter what.
Mine is fine for several weeks then when I am just driving on the highway, it will come on. Nothing you can do about it. Just carry around a 10mm wrench so you can reset the pcm (take of the postive cable off of the battery for a few seconds).

my car is showing P0141 , so i need to remove the Downpipe O2 sensor and just fill the hole and that should work correct ? or do i need to remove the top one ?
just did this mod today and it worked prefectly but make sure you get a pretty strong drill bit because my non fouler way pretty had to drill through and dont think about using an electrical drill
