Good write up. You have that sucker cranked up there, I believe I gave a few inches with the zip ties.

As far as someone else being the 1st to see this with zip ties, it's the only way I'd seen it. Though bolting it up is an option the zip ties is a quick solution.

Thumbs up Decided against this one for now.

I was going to do this until I looked at what I was going to be exposing (cruddy looking stock pipes are kinda rusty right now.) and decided nah. Maybe some other time. By the way, this is my first post, and this site rules the universe.

Default Decided For IT

I went ahead and did it. It looks cool. I thought it would expose the not so pretty part of the pipes, but it really doesn't. I have also debadged the car and got rid of the spoiler (still haven't painted the plugs but I will). Overall, it looks fine. My goal is to draw less attention to the fact that this car will smoke 95% of the cars out there and to make the cops notice me less too of course.

I tried this on my car and for some reason it bowed out a bit in the middle, is that normal? Maybe it just look worse because it was still up on the lift.

For non black SRT's, you should get a can of spray undercoating and spray your crossmember so it doesn't look like crap after you do the bumper roll.

I did this about a year ago, no issues with the pain on the car like some thought initially. I spray painted everything under there. Looks great from behind now.
