I was looking at doing this, so the ones i see on ebay are just for these 2 mounts?..is there a front mount like on the 1st gens and if so where do you get inserts for the front and the tranny???? or is it not needed???
Correct me if I am wrong, but the only mounts are the Tranny and the 2 Engine Torque Mounts (motor mounts aka). I ordered my prothane race mounts from PWERKS, thanks for the quick how-to.. however mine didn't come with Guiness? lol
The only Tranny mount options I have found are the AGP Solid Mount and so on..
Hoping to hit 12's with these.. so far best of 13.202 with super holy shizzle wheel hop off the line (2.199 60') at 107 to 109mph trap speeds. Plus, that was with boost leak hell- now they're all gone!

Sweet thanks for the heads up on the tranny insert. I already installed my Race Mounts in the SRT, completely eliminated wheel hop AND wheel spin! Wheel spin is gone most likely because of the 17x8" rims and 225/45/17 BFG KDW II's
mine are going in this weekend along with fuel pump rewire and fyi before you do order the tranny mount he only ships once a week maybe once every 2 weeks but great person to deal with
i dunno it seems like slight overkill. I took the bolt of the slash shield that is located on the core support. Then i had easy access to the lower mount. I took out the bolt going to the engine and just pulled it down. inserted the inserts and put it back in. All without using anything to hold the engine in place or move it in anyway.
All that without removing the tire and not removing the whole splash shield.

well first off great how to, just installed mine this past week, the onlything i didn't pay attention to is that there are two different size washers, so i had to do a flip- flop after i had the wrong washer on the top mount. I also wanted to know if anyone one has noticed a crap load of vibration when the a/c is turned on? the vib isn't that bad besides when the A/C is on, not horrible just wanna make sure nothing is wrong.
RUgoinUp 2 Heaven? Ever lie, steal, dishonor your parents, commit adultery, use God's name in vain? Those are only 5 of the 10 Commandments. Breaking one condemns you to Hell. Claiming to be a good person won't work in a court of law, nor will it when you stand before God. If you want Heaven, admit you're guilty and ask God to forgive you solely on Jesus' death on a cross. Then love God with all your heart, and love people too.
I'm putting these in on Sunday. I have a torque wrench but there is no way in hell it's fitting on that top motor mount. I can fit a normal wrench on it but moving one of the AC lines out of the way, but the 2nd AC line that's parallel to the inner one won't budge at all. I guess I'm not torquing the top one!
Anyone remember off-hand what size sockets are needed to torque the bolts? I just tightened mine when I put them in, but I've got some squeaking going on around the motor mounts. I want to make sure they're torqued properly to eliminate the mounts as a source of the noise. Thanks.
