...and i can put a stop to the rest of my floor mat turning green!!
You need to take care of that mold growth. It is bad for your health.

I cant really tell by looking at those pictures were the crack is, I guess I will just have to take it apart to see. I have had this same problem, got in today after a day of had rain and like 2" of water in the passenger floor.
had water on my passenger floor this afternoon after a full day of down pour. The only difference is, I had the passenger side of the car about 6-8 inchs higher than the drivers side. I check to make sure the sunroof drain tubes and the A/C drain tubes were clear, and they were. I will have to remove the window cowls off and silicone the crack, and also start parking in a flat spot to see if it happens again. This was the 1st time in 4 years of ownership that I have had water on the floor after rain, but I just recently started parking on the slope.

nahhhhh, my guess with that would be clogged with someth'n - those things build some pretty good dust over time...a car wash I used to go to when I lived in VA would actually blow all the vents out, free'n 'em up.
this has been happening to me intermittently for the past 2-3 years... am i at risk for mold development? i'm so relieved that there is an explanation and fix... thank you so much for the thread...
