Why did you change the color around the HVAC knobs to black?
Thank you. LEDs are for turbo toys (for my S3R). I changed to black, because I thought it was a cleaner look. Orange around the knobs was easier to do, but I thought it stood out in a bad way... so I changed it to black when I installed the LEDs.

niiiiiiiiiiiiiCe writeup!!!! did this a few weeks ago myseLf!!!
did a bad job of taping off the bezel sticker, gett'n nice red paint all over it and haven't had time to fuck 'round with it since. anyone got any ideas for gett'n the shit off without damaging the sticker???
I know that with the use of a heat-gun (or hair dryer) and a sharp blade, you can pry that bezel sticker off of the bezel itself. I've done this a few times -- but please, take my word, do this carefully! This may aid you in touching it up/removing paint, etc...
yeaaa....I'm gonna stop by the junk yard today and pick up another center bezel thing......tried just peeL'n it off with flat blade and ended up tear"N the SHit outta it.

I didn't even bother with the heat gun. I just carefully pulled at it until it popped off. I personally think it looks worlds better when you go through the trouble of removing the overlay. Here's mine.
turn the vents completely down and keep light pressure until you feel a 'pop' - that'll be the outside of the vents popping out of their guide, then just keep pulling and they should slide out.
