I used snips and a dremel ... snips to do the initial cutting & a dremel to clean up the edges & make sure I cut off all of the small debris/metal that might be barely hanging onto the tube

Yea, I was reading about the BS assembly removal. I guess I got confused or something. I didn't think it would be a 1 QT filter or anything.

I gotcha, yeah it would be a good idea. If you haven't cut the balance chain, you might consider doing it. it would be a good time to do it, and if you're willing to deal with a rougher engine from 900 - 1300 RPM, it wakes the engine up. Probably my favorite free mod I've done.

Oh and you'll need some rtv when you do the oil pan gasket, not sure if you knew. You need to put a 1" line on each side where the oil pump meets the block. This is per the FSM....

lol I'm pushing 215 or whatever a stock 03 puts out, I did it because I wanted 225 Seriously though I did it in case I ever step it up, but I also figured it might help out a little on gas mileage and things like that (Even though it might be next to nothing)

I called and they said they didn't have it. But I know of a place called fastener services here in town. If they don't have it (which I won't understand, given the store name), I will hit you up. Thanks mang
