If you think about it since the NEO is not reading rpms it will throw alot of things off. Do you have the settings set to 0 like I have in the instructions? Also when I test drove my friends I never got past 25 mph and it was for a short distance.
I checked the wires for the from the tach driver and everything is in order but im still having the same problems. i've gone over the wiring atleast 4 or 5 times. Does the location of where u tap into the coil wire matter? cause i tapped into it right next to the pcm. Could it just be a bad tach driver?
I might have one. I put a neo in for a friend and when I was done I started the car up and took for a spin. When I looked at the rpm's they were not moving. I took it back and figured it could 2 things. The tach driver is bad (seen it once), or the wiring. I looked at the wiring from the coil and since it was upside down I put the wires from the tach driver to the coil the wrong way. OOPS!!
The wire thats cut on the coil is the first place to look.
Also on line 4 of the main instructions will tell you where to solder in the wires. If you put the driver on the batter tray then look where the wires are located to the coil. Mark the spot then feed the wires down.

REMEMBER TO HEAT SHRINK IF YOU CAN ALL CONNECTIONS OR USE ELECTRICAL TAPE.

5000, 5400, 5800, 6200.
That's it!! Settings are now at zero. Now you need a wideband and you can start adding and subtracting fuel
I was want to make sure that these settings are going to set everything to Zero because im on stock Fuel for now I want to wire this kit up.
Well what its was was that when you run the White/Gray wire into the same wire that is going to the PCM it is getting two different Signals(Throttle and Map) So you actually have to run a seperate wire to the Throttle Cable in the PCM which is a orange with a dark blue stripe in the middle of it. Once I did that everything worked great!
do i need to buy an msd tach driver to hook up the SAFC neo or will it work fine without it
You have to have a Tac. Our cars do not read RPM's so that is where the Tach will send the signal to the SAFC/NEO for the RPM's. You can find them on here for 40ish or new for 60ish.
ok, i am a little confused on the hook up of the wires for the AFC neo. i understand about the red/white and the red along with the black and the brown running them together since they go to the same place, but the other wires, the white wire is the input signal and the yellow wire is the modified output signal, but you want me to connect the white input signal wire along with the gray wire which is the throttle position signal, i don't understand how that works
