Default How-To: Install/Remove Aftermarket Radiator (Mishimoto)

Removal

1.Disconnect negative cable from battery.

2.Raise and support the vehicle.( Please use Jack stands).

3.Drain cooling system below upper radiator hose level .

4.Remove the lower fascia close out panel.

5Disconnect radiator fan electrical connector (Radiator Fan Connector). Located in bottom center of fan assembly.

5.Remove the charge air inlet tube.

6.Loosen the PCM with bracket assembly.

7.Remove upper radiator hose.

Remove air cleaner housing assembly. Only if you are using the stock air intake.

8.Disconnect the air conditioning suction hose retaining bracket to front core support and set aside. Located on passenger side of radiator.

9.Remove upper radiator fasteners (RADIATOR FAN ASSEMBLY).

10.Move the cooling system fan assembly to disconnect the engine harness connected to the fan bracket.
11. Pull out the fan assembly separate from the radiator.
12. Pull out the radiator. Requires some finesse.
Mishimoto Install
Install

1. Bolt the Fan assembly to the new radiator.
2. Tighten the drain plug on the new radiator.
3. Lower new radiator into vehicle.
4. Install all components do steps (4-9 ) in reverse order.
5. Add coolant to the car via the thermostat housing, make sure the heat is on full power with the car running. To let all air bubbles work themselves out.
6.Lower car and you are ready to go with you new Aluminum High Performance Mishimoto Radiator.
