Default How To Install Mopar Bov Plate?

Hey i was insterested in installing a mopar bov. I looks like its a plate/spacer? And i beleive it goes inbetween the surge valve? What is the purpose of a surge valve anyways, how does it work? Has anyone installed a mopar BOV kit before, is it as easy as they say? Thanks!

For the love of god remove line on top of the turbo, not sure if it's oil or coolant... I think it's oil, but it will make that 3rd bolt a lot easier. Don't skimp on the gasket either.

the blue plate is mostly a noise maker, but i think ive read that it also routes the pressure from coming back into the intake so it keeps the intake cooler? correct me if im crazy, but mostly for noise.
