Hmm.... I'll have to look into that in the spring.

Oh, is the cruise kit specific to certain years? I have an '01 R/T that I'm pretty sure the kit will work on, but I'm more interested in trying it on the SRT-4. I'd like to know that if it doesn't work I could at least put it on the R/T.

But, the R/T doesn't have an NGC PCM, it is the old style... The connectors and pins would be different.

Does the cruise kit come with a schematic? Can you post it here? Maybe I'll just fab up a test circuit to try on my S3 car before I go out and buy the kit...

Well, if it doesn't work on 2, I don't see why it would work on 3!

Whole different set of programming. Who knows what it will do?

i've heard 2 w/out toys works and 2 with doesn't, something about that section of available code being used for toys.

Yeah, guess it stands to reason that S3 won't work then. S2 w/ toys has the same PCM bugs as S3. Probably very similar programming.

Im doubting this would work very well with an aftermarket wga or noncomputer controlled boost. PTOB=killer when going up hills

I'd imagine it would adjust. That's what feedback is for.

I live at 7000' in the Rocky Mountains. I have S1, 3" exhaust, and the Omniphil mod. Boost sometimes hits 10-12 psi going up the steepest passes at 65-75mph.

Doesn't the PT Cruiser GT have cruise? And that is mated up to the same engine that powers our SRT's.

Normally speaking though, it might be the same unit as the base neon factory cruise because auto OEM's love commonality.

The cruise kit we are using is the Neon part.

All of these cars use the same PCM, the NGC. But the software is all different.

the only thing i'm curious of from the PT is whether or not the throttle body would work, but since they have a different intake manifold, i'm assuming that their TB is also different...*SHRUGS*

The TB are different. There isn't a cc bolt on TB that i know of. But that is the least of my problems. Mine is all wired, and even the cruise light comes on when acctivated, but doesn't work! AAARRRRGGGGGG
