Default Cruise and Staged Upgrades

It has already been proven that this works with staged upgrades WITH OUT TOYS...... It would be really nice if someone could prove that this setup works with staged ECUs that HAVE TOYS. Nice install pics nemiro. Those will help alot of ppl who are going to be doing this. So.... Does this work with TOYS???

Thanks! Well, I proved that it will all fit and work in a SRT-4, and showed you how. All you guys PM'ing me or asking in the thread if CC will work with Toys, need to go out on a limb and try it yourselves! Heck, if it doesn't work, you know you'll have a market for the system if you need to sell it.

Or...
If someone wants to give nemiro or myself an S2/S3 kit w/ toys I'd be more than glad to install it on my car and test it for you

Alternative... if someone in the northern NJ area has an S2/S3 in their car and wants to buy the CC kit I'll help them install it.

Default Stage 2 no toys?

I did this install and it doesn't work on mine. I spent 3 days, taking my time, doing it right and all for nothing. I am going to try my stock computer tomorrw and see what happens. I don't want to give up stage 2 for cruise though.

Definitely try swapping your S0 computer back in at least to verify you got the wiring correct in the harness. You don't even need to start the engine to activate the cruise switch... it'll light off with the key just at run. If you still don't get it to activate post up here (and PM me if you want) and I'll see if I can help.

You'd dump S2 over Cruise Control? Wow... You sure you wanna do that? The S1 computer is not calibrated for S2 injectors, or the WGA or the 3 bar map sensor or the 3 bar tip sensor. I'm sure timing is totally different as well.

Just get a piece of string and tie it from the back of the gas pedal to the steering wheel... works just the same

One off of a turbo 89 Lebaron (2.5). It actually fir very nice. Ground off the rivets, and it fit in the stock holes on the throttle plate.

This is the 2nd ad to appear on Ebay recently, for 2005 Comm. STR's with cruise.
This ad lists it twice as being on the car. Perhaps the 2 dealers that placed the ads were both mistaken.
