I'm thinking of it... if it will work with S3 w/ toys... Guess someone needs to step up and try it... :-) Of course, my S3 isn't here yet, so it can't be me.
And I'll probably only do it if I can get a 60mm TB to work with it...
But, hey. Sounds good. When I get some time over the winter while the car is doing nothing in my garage I'll probably do this.
I may actually do it in my Neon as well. It'll be easier there too... I already have the dual cable setup ready.

Good you mentioned the TB. I'll go over to another thread and see if the one TB maker dude responded.

Couldn't you just use a TB from a Turbo PT Cruiser that has cruise control ?

How many of our country's problems could be solved – and solved quickly – if politicians were more worried about what is good for our country rather than how to protect their positions of power?
It's possible. I haven't ever looked at one close enough to tell you. I used a cam off of a TB from a 2001 PT Cruiser, and that TB will not bolt up. GT could be a different story.
I do know the cam off of a 80s/90s TBI mopar car won't work... it's backwards damnit! (sucks 'kuz I have several here from junkers I cut up) Guess it's junk yard diving for me. Now that I got an idea of what to look for I'll just snoop everything I can find in the yards and post back what I find.
<HINT> IT WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF ONE OF THE AFTERMARKET TB GUYS WOULD BE INTERESTED IN STEPPING UP FOR THIS! </HINT>
If the dimensions of the TBI cam are right, it will work. It was like this on the PT cam, too. I just turned it around, and it fit perfectly. Had to drill out the part where the cable rode (so you could get the cable on it). You'll see what I mean, if you try it.
Just in case uncivilracer doesn't get the PM I sent him, he's getting a 3 day vacation. A couple of you have received warnings for your War-Stories banter.

Do you have any photos of the two TB's side by side?

I suggest you take these warnings seriously.
Just in case anyone cares, uncivilracer has been permanently banned. This war-stories-like bs will not be tolerated at all!
