Default How-To: Another Trunk Plug Install w/Parts

Ok first things first pick the remote off the floor of your house before going outside or this will happen..

So first off get your wallet and head to lowes. and pick up the following parts
(if you have any other color than black go get paint to match your car)

What your going to do now after spending about 3$ + touchup paint if your car isnt black, is take your wing off by undoing the 10mm nuts on the bottom of your wing.
The easiest way to acutually take the wing off is to close your trunk and pull up one side at a time carefully or your going to have some nice gouges in the lid.
ok once your wing is off, use something to get all the dirt off the trunk lid and the residue from the rubber, I used meguiars scratch x, works pretty good

Then open you trunk back up and put the plugs thru the holes
Next take the rubber grommets which will make a seal to the bottom of the lid so it dosent leak,
now take a washer and push it over the end of the plug and use something to press it on all the way so the plug dosent move when installed.
should look something like this when your done.

at the end you will have a pretty clean result.
