so is it really the hard stuff that makes it stick out more?....i am going with the softer rubber stuff (foam) because well i know it works on the creators car and hell its yellow like mine so it has to work lol
Sorry if this was asked before, but what kind of tape are you folks using to stick this onto the front end?
I used the Scotch 3M Indoor/Outdoor Mounting Tape listed as Super Heavy Duty. My Home depot receipt has part number 021200471032 and they are $3.97 per roll, you need 2 rolls. The weather stripping I used was a 16 ft roll of Vinyl Garage door stripping, normally $13.64 but at my home depot it was listed on clearance for $10.27. The part number for this one is 038613281295 and there is enough there to do 2 cars from what it looks like. There are different ways you can mount this one on the car, I did the way that it goes down instead of out. It wouldn't make the turn around the bumper while sticking out without bending and popping out funny. You could also flip it around where it hugs the bumper and barely sticks out at all which some people might like as well. Pretty simple mod and I don't see any need to put screws in it as I can see this being a piece I replace yearly or so. Now I just need to take the black sharpie to the few spots that you can see the grey tape holding it on and I am done. Great mod to protect the bottom of the front lip!
