I got some black double sided tape from O'reilleys(spelling) about a month ago. I'm hoping they will have more for this week-end........

thanks, and thanks for the guy that first did it...its so easy to do every one is doing it.......kind of stinks it not really unique but i dont care its still awesome

im going to get some 1/5-8ths studs from work and screw them to the bottom then glue the strip to that with a few drywall screw to hold better...looks great guys

just an idea... do you think 3M Spray adhesive would work? I would tape up the strip that I wouldn't want sprayed. of course I would also use screws.

And ya not unique but im glad that people are doing it and like it. When I see another car with it, im like hey, u got that how to from srtforums didnt you and explain that i made the how to, lol.

To the poster of this thread. You are the sh*! Thanks for helping out the srt community by posting this. A lot of other people would just keep it for themselves. Thanks I will be trying this out on my other ride and will post pictures when done. Probably when Home Depot opens I will do it

just wondering how long have you guys had the lip on? Any signs of it coming off? I doubt mine will ever fall off because of that tape i used.

the tape i used is very strong. I doubt it will ever move. Hopefully I wont have to take it off when I get stripes. will I?

i wouldnt worry bout it. i used the tape that was prescribed and i also stapled it up so it aint goin nowhere fast
