I did not read the whole thing but from experience do not disconnect the clutch slave from the master as described in the FSM its not necessary. Only disconnect the slave like that when the slave or master is going to be replaced.
Find the spot in the service manual where it describes bleeding the slave, then using that for info on how to remove the slave from the trans to bleed, secure the slave out of the way without disconnecting.
Doing it this way prevents issues with possibly introducing air into the system. Also make sure no one push in on the clutch pedal.
