1) Put headlight in 225° oven on a cookie tray for 15 minutes (One at a time). Only 5 minutes on subsequent trips back into the oven if starting over from step 3.
2) Remove from oven.
3) Pry apart.
Repeat first three steps until they are apart.
Paint whatever parts you want.
Use whatever sealant you prefer to close the lamps back up. Re-heating them first will soften the OEM adhesive and will help create a better bond when re-sealing.
Done.
