Default SRT4 Amp Power Cable routing.

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the right place for this topic but I'll give it a shot. I was working on installing an Amp in my SRT4 and I was having trouble finding a place to route my power cable from the Bat through the firewall. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Although it is a frequently asked question, I think the audio forum would have been the correct place. Anyways...
Look on the firewall almost behind the drivers strut, you will see a grommet with wires going through it. You can feed your power wire through there with the aid of a coat hanger or stick. The wire will come down somewhere above the clutch pedal if I recall correctly.
I ended up taping my wire to the end of a stick, and poking that end through the grommet. Coat hanger method did not work for me. Some recommend to cut a slit in the grommet, but I did not have to do that

Thanks for the advice, I'll see what I can do with that.

I used my stock antenna as a guide. The little rounded ball on the end is good for pushing it through the firewall...
