Default shift light

i was thinking about putting in a shift light and was wondering what i need besides the shift light. and if there is a write up about on can you lead me into the right direction....thank you

I've got an Autometer part number 6188 that I'm gonna put up for sale tonight. Here's a link explaining how it works.

Auto Meter

It's programmable with a over rev warning, 5 different shift point settings, 7 color shift light, digital tach, shift point approaching light, etc. I've got one in the SRT right now and I love it. Plus it's 2 1/16" (52mm) size, so you can stuff it in any gauge pod. I'm only selling it because I got a second one as a gift. It's brand new.

That autometer one, is pretty much the same one I have, and I love it. I think the color of the face is the only difference.

here is a pic...

I actually have the tach display turned off, now. I found it to be a bit of a distraction.

Ever think of the Aeroforce Gauge? Comes with a shift light and a multifunctional gauge to boot.
