alright well we were driving today and BAM engine light came on! how do I know what code it is? does it say the pXXXX ??? sorry i just dont know about that stuff! Thanks I would appreciate the help...

using the key in ignition, turn accessories on, then off, then on, then off, then back on and watch the screen where your milage normally reads and it will say, ----, then the code (pxxxx), then other codes if you have them and then it will display "done"

alright well I did it and the code p1188 came up! what does tip sensor performance mean??? thanks for the help!

throttle inlet pressure sensor, i had this code pop up on my car aswell and later on threw a check engine, bought a used tip sensor and also i went ahead and replaced my iacv for a clean one and did the tps rewire and my car has been running good.
