I just bought my 2005 srt4 with 11.5K miles, and it actually didn't come with the owners manual
I just need the basic do's-and-donts with this car.
I've never owned a turbo car... Don't really know the basics..
I know there's something about not turning your car off immediately after boost, synthetic oil every 3k miles, BLAH, BLAH...
Go on... I want to hear it all.
As fas as the synthetic oil, does it HAVE TO be MOBIL; can it be Pennzoil?

it doesnt have to be mobil and some donts no fuel tuning with out some kind of way to keep track of your AFR
Don't start up the car in the middle of a boost leak test... ask TheGreyGhost why...

wash car often, check air pressure often 35psi good. Use Premium fuel only, any Premium oil is good, regardless of type or brand, 5w30 only. Use Mopar stage kits, Install motor mount inserts or spend big money on solid mounts. Do not do burn outs..do not over boost car. Do not accelerate hard coming out of a corner or turn, car likes too pull to left or right and can be scary, called ( TORQUE STEER) this is more controlled some by using motor mount inserts,or solid mounts. You bought a great car and fun to drive, and is fast.. just use your head and read this forum alot to learn stuff. Pt Performance on here is a great place to mod and buy.

The aftermarket WGA allows you to adjust boost and prevents boost from falling off as rapidly as it does on a stock WGA. The stock WGA has a 4 lb spring in it and our stock turbo is small when compared to our large 2.4L of displacement for a 4 cylinder. This causes boost to fall of towards the redline no matter what. Aftermarket WGA's are adjustable so you can set boost at your desired level and have a much stiffer spring, usually 14 lbs or so which allows boost to hold on longer and not drop off as rapidly as it would otherwise. If you get a WGA don't set it past 16 psi until you get some sort of fuel management, (a stage kit, SAFC, Map clamp, detec, etc.) Some people will say you can go higher, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Once you do that then you can up the boost more. Also make sure to reroute the vaccuum lines after you install the WGA in order for it to run properly. Do a search on vaccuum lines.
A BOV isn't a necessity on a stock turbo unless you're running a good amount of boost. I had the Mopar rice plate, which uses the stock surge valve, running 19 lbs and never had leak issues because I installed it properly. If you plan on upgrading turbos or want that cool sound than get an aftermarket BOV.
Do your best to always do some searching and read the stickys in this forum before asking questions. I'm surprised no one has flamed you for that yet, but but that's a good thing. Here is some homework for you, you may want to bookmark these, it helps you get started. Good luck and congrats on the purchase.
Oh, and PM me if you still need an owners manual, I can hook you up. Somone posted a link to download it a while back but I don't have time to find it right now.

2003 Dodge SRT-4: a little extra boost, a little extra fuel, and some good spark.
2005 Suzuki Hayabusa - driver mod, doesn't need much else!

I see...
Now, does the car drive differently aside from boosting with the AGP WGA?
I mean, as is, I've noticed that either you drive this car really slow or really fast.
I'm going 35mph, and the second I give it a little bit of gas you instantly hear the turbo start spooling and feel the car picking up some pace.
I've research on this site for the AGP WGA, and came across PTB (part-throttle boost) several times. What exactly is this, and is it something I should worried about?
Is this a good thing?
Im not sure how true they are on SRT4s but part say you are running your car and you are 3/4 throttle at full boost, your fuel tables are leaner at that throttle opening as compared to WOT when the computer will supply the full amount. Hope this helps.
