intercooler question.

hello, i was just wondering, the stock intercooler has black styrafoam above it... is part of the intercooler covered by the foam, or is it just there to fill space above the intercooler? just curious. THANKS!

Its actually covering up the stock crash beam, part of the whole "5mph impact resistant bumper" thing. REmoving it gains you nothing
