Default 2004 vs. 2005 SRT4

What is the difference between these two models, if any?

I'm pretty sure there were a few yellow 04's made but they are VERY rare and hard to find.

wow, so i'm in the process of getting a used one and on bluebook the price difference for a 2004 and '05 is $2000 with identical features. It looks to me that an '04 is a much better deal. Thanks for the info as well.

04s don't have the nasty 3rd gear problems, 04s also don't have picky TIP sensors so you can up the boost easier stock. Thats the only differences I've seen in the past but they are huge if you ask me

Both come with LSD from the factory

'03
Solar Yellow
Inferno Red
Bright Silver Metallic
Black

rated at 215hp and i believe the torque was rated at 230 or 250 for '03 i can't remember

'04
Solar Yellow very few made
Electric Blue Pearl Metallic
Inferno Red
Bright Silver Metallic
Black

rated at 230hp, 250trq
had the addition of the LSD, optional sunroof, kicker system, and airbag seats

'05

then there was also the Comm. Ed. which was Stone White with EBPM stripes
