Default what is the best way to get traction

hay guys how in the hell do yall get traction .. r yall doing anything different then i am. i can't seem to get traction in 1st through 3rd.. i can not race anyone on street unless i race in 4th and then i get mad tq steer. and car allways want to pull to right.. when a 4 gear pull. i am running on drag radials on the street and i still lite them up.. this 50 trim is no joke.. i think 25 psi is to much for the street.. word to the wise for anyone that is going to buy the 50 trim.. anything 23psi and up will blow your mind let alone your tires.. i can see now that at the track will not be a fun take off as i will spin like shit.. good job agp on this 50 trim.. yall hit a home run on this one.. :crybaby:

Hmm. 2004's come with LSD installed, right? In my 2003, after I put in the LSD, I got no more pull to the right. Are your tires aligned?

No you understand why I tell people there is no reason to go bigger than a 50 trim, unless you are investing in slicks and really want to step it up. 50 trim is enought to spin the tires at 120mph on the highway, so what does another 50hp do for you?

For traction, a two stage boost controller works well in my experience. Set it to 13-14 pounds in 1st/2nd, then 20 or so in higher gears.

Stop your nut huggin you sound like you about to jk...

Someone told me that the 50 trim will only do up to 400whp respectibly unless you crank up the boost and put the turbo out if its efficency range. True or no? Also, this person did an 11.1 in the 1/4 mile with a GT40 turbo, standalone, etc...there also a vendor on the forums...

not true at all.. you can make about 520 hp on this turbo.. that is maxed out.. and yes i am nut hangin and pround of it.. i had to squeeze on off before i wrote this post.. .. on 50 trim with 25 psi 450hp are so i can see mid 11's.. with no problem biggest part is keep the wheels from spin so damn much..

Technically speaking the standard 50trim turbo is a 48lb unit, therefore giving it a peak output of around 480hp given all supporting mods.
With this said AGP's unit may be slightly different for the good or bad it makes no difference its still a bad ass little turbo as some people think LOL. Also note you CAN certainly push a turbo past its efficiency range (people are doing it all the time on the stocker.
I know when I upgrade it will be no larger than a 57trim (either AGP 50trim or Psi-Fi's 57trim)

I know this is AGP's forum but Dognutz, I strongly suggest you look into Psi-Fi traction units I as well as many others in my area have had them installed for quite some time and I could not imagine driving my car without them...it is simply night and day in regards to how the car hooks up and how it feels.
