Default Turbonetics WG ?

I just turned my boost up from 22 to 26. At 22 psi it held boost fine. At 26 it bleeds off a few pounds. Should I put that other spring that the gate came with in or just put in some shims?
thanks
jesse

My guess is it's the gain settings in your E01. The only thing the dual spring setup will help you with is holding more boost, especially with a manual boost controller.

Ben - I know your reservations with tial. But, could you compare this gate to an equivalent tial gate? I think we all know that deltagate that this replaced (the "saucer spaceship thingy") was a heaving pile of shit!

The Evolution is a direct replacement for the TiAL 35/38. Same bolt spacing on both the inlet and the outlet.

Let's not get into talking about the Deltagate. The Evolution gate is nothing like the ol Deltagate.

It all depends on how much boost you want to run with it. The dual spring will give you a base 15psi. If you want even more, you can add the shims. With the shims and the dual spring, you should have a base around 18psi.
