I covered the ball bearing turbos in the intial part. What numbers are you talking about that are confusing. As a rule of thumb, 1lb of air can make about 10hp, so a 55lb turbo can make ~550hp.
Its a badass turbo. I can't decide if I want that or a 50 trim on my honda. I had a 50 trim on my DSM and loved it, but can't go wrong with a gt40 if you can live with the spool.
The reason I went with the GT40 is only because I'm runnng the Crane #14 stage 3 cams and they make the stock turbo spool very fast, so in theory I believe they will make the GT40 spool a little faster reduceing a little lag either way I think it will be an awesome setup.
AGP what are your thoughts on the above statement about the cams? Do you think it will make it spool noticeably faster?

It is posable, a set of adjustable cam gears can do that for you too. What you are looking for is more advance on the exhaust cam. Sometimes depending on backpressure, you will also gain spool up by advancing the intake cam to reduce overlap. The crane cams may have some of this built into the grind.
Start sending seized Iraqi guns one pc. at a time and we'll have any turbo kit you want waiting for you when you get back . Some nice select fire FAL's will do.
you must be crazy to want to fire one of these pieces of crap. I would much rather fire my good old M16 A2, than one of those. As for shipping anything back. That is a no-no my friend. Didn't you see the article on those little New Yorker kids playing with a rocket launcher that some dumb a*# soldier brought back?
What Kevin said. It is possible for cams to make a turbo spool quicker, or later depending on thier specs. I had a set of webcams that made my turbo lag 1000rpms later than stock cams. That sucked.
