So, why are a lot of people going with the bigger turbos? I mean most of them full boost is around 3800 rpms.

To support more HP, more top end, more power at lower boost.

Traction isn't going to matter. 450hp out of a 50 trim isn't going to have better or worse traction than 550hp out of a GT40. Well, maybe at 90mph.

Any thoughts on a GT3040. I see you haven't listed it, or is it just a different name for the same turbo.

My goal: 350-400 on pump
My money: just about $3,000

What can you guys do for me? (excluding exhaust) I'm thinking about getting my turbo kit from another place so a fast response would be nice. Thanks.

Charles

Stage 4 is stage 4, if you subtract parts then you lose the discount and just order the stuff by itself. You should still get a package deal, but not as good as stage 4. Best bet is to take advantage of the stage 4 discount, sell your current intercooler and upgrade to the best.
