Default Turbo quastions

I have been to the AGP site a few times and have seached a few times, but I would like to get the best updated info. I am thinking about going bigger turbo. Nothing to big I would like to be around 400hp with fast spoll time without a lot of other mods (more of a street turbo). I have 3" turbo back with S2. What would be the best deal/kit you guys sell for about 400hp. I seen you had a deal for a nice turbo kit, I think it was a 3147 for around $1600, this turbo seemed to fit what I was looking for. Is this deal still going on if not what would be my next bet a 50trim? I dont mean to sound helpless just want the best info. from the people who deal with this kind of stuff day to day.

3147 was a great street turbo yes. And yes the next bet would be an AGP 50 trim. Great turbo IMHO.

"The 3147 WAS a great turbo"...I take it that means I can no longer get this turbo.

Ok well AGP I see your 50 trim kit sells for 1900, looks like the kit has everything like turbo mount, drain, and all other gaskets, studs, and nuts. So lets say I buy this kit. will I need anything eles. Or can I put this turbo on with all the parts in the kit and be good for around 380hp with S2 and other bolt ons, or will I need other parts or a way to tune?

go with the GT28 awesome turbo super fast spool, up on race gas should do 400whp probably mid 300's on pump 91. or go with a DBB50 with a .63 a/r

Check out our turbo selection guide or our turbo kit descriptions on our website. It will answer all of your questions as far as fuel and other parts needed to make the system work, and perform at its full potential.

If you have any additional questions, feel free to give us a call and we can walk you through any other questions you have.

As far as turbos go, if you want the best spooling combination we have, choose the 3071R kit.

I would ditch stage 2 and get a return line and dtec etc. Then I would get the dbb 50. Great spool up and 500whp has been done. You will need 750s also, along with a clutch but that is a given.
