The delta 55 will have a 4" inlet.

We will offer this as a complete turbo kit as well.

Hmm incentive to go D55 - get rid of my ugly spray painted 3" intake.

again, asking agp, in what level does this turbo fall into? comparing with other turbos? ie 50trim, s256, gt3076, n maybe a 57trim(50#)

spoolup, topend, using with pump fuel n meth etc.etc.

I know this is a stupid question but why is the spool sound on this turbo much louder than the 50 trim?

It's a 55lb/min compressor, hence the "55" designation.

Feel free to ask the people that are using them. Most people don't ever end up believing us when we quote times, dynos, charts, etc. We'll let the people using them comment on how they work in the real world.

We use a ported shroud compressor housing that's cut correctly, which is what most of the "spool sound" is from.

It works very good on pump but on race gas its about as powerful as I would want to go without a built lowend. I ran a 12.23@123+ on just pure 93 octane (no W/I or race gas) on goodyear radials. I think had my tranny not given out and a day of tweaking the tune it would have run close to 125 on pump. with some race gas and 23+psi high 120s is no problem. I ran 11.7@127 spinning the slicks at 23.5psi

This is why I am leaning towards this turbo. I think I am already close to maxxing out the bottom end.

Do you have any videos? Not necessarily of your track times, just in general. I'd like to see how it pulls from a cockpit and listen to it.

Having watched at the stands for a few of Todd's burnouts/runs, it sounds a lot like the BIG turbos out there.
