I just installed my 48lb S3D!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds amazing. Havent driven it yet. I got the stripper kit b/c Im poor. And the Wastegate touches the stock overflow bottle.

Also, I noticed the dump tube is touching a rubber hose. It the hose at the firewall that gose Hard line----> Rubber Hose -----> Hard line.

How hot does the dump tube get? Will I need to fix this so that line doesnt get a whole in it? Does anyone know what that line is?

Pit- I'm assuming that ^^^was on race gas? What was the pump gas results & how much boost with that?

I see a lot of people talking about their HP goals with these turbo's. What you have to understand that the main reason the Mopar Stage 3 is so quick for the relatively little amount of HP is make is 3 fold

1). Properly tuned (the SCT software & AGP tune takes care of that)
2). Broad powerband (Spools quickly & holds that power)
3). Lots of torque! On my S3R I made 391HP but a 441TQ in HOM. That's 50 more FT Lbs of torque abobe the WHP it produces. Most cars will make roughly the smae amount of HP & TQ.

Looks like AGP has really done their homework & pegged all the reasons people love Mopar's S3 & incorperated it into their kit. There really is no reason to buy Mopar's version anymore

Definitely better than Mopar kit.
But is it better than a .48A/R 50 trim...

I know there's a few threads from the testing phase of this kit which has them in it but... can we get some dyno graphs up in this thread please

If anyone has the winpep files I'd love to get my hands on that too please. We can some fun with overlaying some graphs.

Also, does "Delta" stand for something specifically or was that just something you settled on? Probably came up with it after doing keg stands at a frat party?

You are going to want to move the overflow bottle so it doesn't touch the dumb tube and whatever hose is hitting the dump tube will also need moved.

I'll put the dynographs up when I get back to work. I have them there.

We do all our dynoing on a dynapack so no soup for you John.

So does anybody know if the Mopar Stage PCM's would be able to control this kit? Like S2 or S3 PCm's? I have S2 so thats why i'm curious. You guys keep talking about maps and tunes for this kit, what programming are you using to do this?

It would "control this kit" as good/ bad as it does any other turbo kit. The S3 pcm would be a decent match for the 40lb turbo but it still a respectable amount more than the 37lb Mopar S3 turbo so you might get a touch lean at times. Just watch the wideband & tune with a piggy back, bump up the size of the injectors, do a fuel pump re-wires, etc...

Ultimately you're going to be hard pressed to match the accuracy, consistancy, & drivability of the tunes AGP has already worked so hard to develop for the SCT software they're recommending with this. Really for the price it's the best thing you could do to make your car/turbo happy. Besides, AGP's customer service is top notch so if you buy the parts they sell/ recommend, they will be better able to assist you with any future upgrade, recommendations, trouble shooting.

Blah... we'll I'm sure you have some files you could post/ overlay showing the difference in spool, torque, drop at redline, etc... so potential customers can "see why" this new product will/ won't be what they're looking for.

Can we get the SCT separately for this kit, so those who buy the non-complete kit can get the SCT tune specific for this turbo kit?

whats the spool time in the 44lbs wheel? also how much power would it make?

what is the diffrence between the 48lbs wheel and a 50 trim with a 48 a/r?
