Default Stage 2 injectors enough to run agp turbo??

I have stage 2 without toys and was wondering if the stage 2 injectors are big enough to run the 50 trim/ .63 ar housing by letting stage 2 control the boost???? I thought about buying the turbo kit and later buy the fuel kit when I wanted more power. Just wondering if I could do this safely by letting stage 2 control the boost. And this is assuming I have the agp front mount intercooler and BOV. Thanks.

Yes I was running S2 with my 50 trim and had no issues but once you install a turbo kit, the pcm will no longer have control of the boost because you eliminate all of the vacuum lines.

You won't be able to max out the 50-trim due to the injectors being too small. Stage 2 will only support around high 300's horsepower.

Hmmm, so with stage 2 injectors and a 50-trim, one could achieve 350 hp???

Looks like I'm going to have to drive from Tucson and come talk to you guys......

Thanks Jon, I knew you needed more fuel and boost to max out the 50 trim, just trying to make sure I could run it safely with the stage 2 injectors. I'm only looking for 330 to 350hp right now. It is possible to let stage 2 control the boost for now isn't it? I know I read somewhere that a couple people were doing this and were achieving around 330hp? I don't want to run any air fuels higher than 11.5-11.8 if I don't have to. Just wondering if I can do that with the stage 2 injectors running at whatever boost it'll run? Thanks again.

Like evo said, when you install the 50-trim, you eliminate the stock vacuum lines that control the boost, so the S2 pcm has no control over the turbo/wastegate. You will be able to control boost with wastegate spring/mbc.

Those people that you saw making around 330 whp probably did have the full Stage 2, but were controling the boost externally. I think the only non-stock turbo kit that still utilizes an integrated wastegate is the Mopar Stage 3, which still allows the pcm to control boost. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I remember only one person that was supposedly letting the boost solenoid control boost and that was bigmosrt. He has the 3147 turbo.

Performance Autowerks did the install. Here is what Ron had to say:

Just add a bit more fuel Mo and you can have a little more fun. Remember not having that watter cooled shaft bearing really meens you have to keep up with your oil changes now!

IMO hooking up that solenoid is pointless. Tree Top, just have the wg control boost and you'll be fine. Consistent 17 psi every time.

I'm pretty sure 350 on stage 2 injectors is pushing it on pump gas. 330 is very doable.

Stock injectors are doable. Hell, you could downgrade injectors if you wanted to honda ones or something and still run a t67. Just limits you on max power and boost.

I did 370whp on S2 injectors, but the fuel pressure was CRANKED and the injectors were DONE. Not a safe way to make power thats for sure. Get some 750s and call it a day.

What kind of air fuels are you guys seeing running off the stage 2 injectors at around 16-17psi? Is it consistent throughout? Anyone have a dyno graph with stage 2 running a 50trim turbo??? Thanks guys. Thanks evo77 and nick@AGP.
