Default SCT question

i have the SCT tune from AGP and only have a wideband to read air/fuel. i do not have a datalogger they also highly recommend having. right now i am running 18psi, would it be safe to turn up boost to 22-24 psi without a datalogger?

I wouldn't push it without a scangauge or means to watch Knock. Especially if you are running strictly pump gas. A/F can be in an acceptable range while still seeing KR.

on 18 psi yes i have been using only 91 oct. but if i put in race gas and turned up the boost to 22-24 would i still need to worry about knock?

btw how much is a scan gauge?

Generally from 23psi and above, Kevin adds additional timing in his maps for race fuel. The most we generally suggest on pump gas is 20-21psi.

There are a number of datalogging devices available out there. Many of our customers use the Aeroforce scan gauges, although I do not believe they allow you to actually save logs. Air/fuel and knock/timing retard are the most important things you want to keep an eye on.

Kevin does that with all of our maps, so I am pretty sure yours would be like that as well.
