Default SCT + Fuel Return Line

I received my SCT tune from you. Thanks a lot.

My setup is 50T, A/R .63, Fuel return Line and S2 injectors.

On the instruction sheet, it says: ...you should have the vacuum line going to your FPR from a boost only source...

I only want to know if the sent tune is intended to be connected as the paper says. At the beginning I thought the fuel pressure has be static and the FPR will be for little "tune" purposes, but seems be the fuel pressure will reach the boost trough the FPR, isn’t it?

Is there an available SCT Tune on static fuel pressure (S2 injectors) due I need it for my NOS setup?

Best Regards.

You sent this as a PM to me, but I'll respond here as well so everyone can see in case they have the same question:

When you order an SCT from the website, there is a drop down box asking if you have a fuel return kit. You fuel pressure will affect the tune, so we need to know if you have a return line to make the necessary adjustments to the fuel map.

We can make the tune for however your car is set up, but you need to make sure to have us make the adjustments to your tune if you add or remove the return line.

So, is not a technical limitation? Due I am on S2 injectors, could them max out the 50t on static fuel pressure tune?

Thanks for the fast reply.

Regards.

It depends on what you mean a technical limitation.

To get an SCT from us you don't need a return line. We can make the tune for stock returnless system, or we can make the tune for a car with a return line. We just need to know because the fuel maps will be totally different between a car with and without a fuel return line.

Depending on how much power you plan to make, you may need a return line. Generally you will need one to make more than 420-430hp.

If all you have are stage 2 injectors and no return line, you're not going to want to run more than 16-17psi.

Clear now. If I want to stay on my S2 injectors, static fuel pressure, 16-17 psi is the limit. If I want to go more keeping my S2 injectors, I have to use my return line or upgrade my injectors.

Thanks Ben.
