We had a howl on one of the s3d kits we installed. Don't know if it was the comp size, or the position of the engine, but one of the bolt humps on the comp housing was just barely touching the fire wall and it would make a howling sound that was more pronounced during spool down. Tried clocking it to avoid it, but just couldn't get it lined up correctly without having something else not line up, so I shifted the engine foward a few mm, and also dented in the firewall a lil at that one spot. Problem gone. Not sure if this is related, but that was the one experience i had. Probably just a casting defect or something. Never had a problem with agp products before or after.
PS... s3d is one bad ass setup... makes me wanna ditch my dbb50 trim.

The compressor housing is hitting the firewall. But i dont see how that will cause the howling nosie
