Don't use RTV. Does the fitting seem loose at all, like it can do another 360 degree rotation on the top of the turbo?

No. But it's leaking oil out of there bad. I can't even get in there to try and tighten the fitting. Why can't I use rtv?

RTV will flake off and clog up the oil inlet of the turbo.

It is an NPT fitting, so it will only seal on a few threads. If you are very careful, and need to use a sealant, use the Loctite teflon liquid stuff and put just a little bit on the middle sets of threads on the fitting. It won't take much at all, so make sure you do not overuse it. Don't glob it all over the fitting or you will have problems.

I'm not saying I'm going to put it on the threading. I was going to put it around the fitting so it won't leak because I can't tighten or loosen the fitting because I don't have enough room to get a wrench in.

That most likely wouldn't seal it, and I would reccommend doing it that way.

You'll probably need to pull the turbo off in order to get enough room to get a wrench in there.

The tune itself? That's what our tunes go for right now. A bit more than others, but we do not charge for retunes or updates. If you change something let us know and we'll give you an updated tune.

Hey Jon I somehow stripped the threading on the oil line going to the fitting on the turbo. So I need a new line and a new fitting just to be safe. I was wondering how much that would be. I'm going to be doing some training For 2 weeks and will have no access to any electronics so I'm going to have my wife get in touch with you while I'm gone and hopefully you can ship me the parts before I get back.
